Mint and Miura Form Apac Partnership

Mint Payments and electronic payments hardware specialist Miura Systems have formed a strategic distribution partnership to deliver advanced, mobile point of sale (mPOS) solutions to Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific (Apac) region.

Aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the regions “the Mint/Miura solution provides businesses with a wide range of payment acceptance methods, including magnetic stripe (MSR), chip and pin (EMV), contactless (NFC), and local debit card transactions (EFTPOS) in Australia and New Zealand,” the partners announced.

“This solution will enable merchants to deliver value-added services, targeted marketing and advertising content from anywhere inside or outside the store.”

Alex Teoh, chief executive officer (CEO), Mint Payments added: “Mint is focused on delivering a complete omni-channel solution and mobile point of sale is an important aspect of this. By partnering with Miura, a world leader of innovative secure electronic payment hardware, we will be able to provide businesses with a secure and easy-to-integrate solution that leverages our enterprise-ready payment experience.”
