Alex Wong

Alex Wong is a solutions consultant in Global Treasury Solutions (GTS), for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He is responsible for developing client cash management solutions covering transactional services, client technical integration and liquidity structures. Wong's previous roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofA Merrill) include working as a product developer on the e-banking platform, where he delivered projects for the Asian local language capability, changes for the EU1781 regulation and a new payment initiation module. He was also part of the GTS, EMEA team as a receivables product manager. Prior to joining BofA Merrill, Wong worked at Barclays Commercial as a senior product manager for Europe. In this role, as part of the international cash and trade team, he was responsible for the international SWIFT Corporate Access model. Wong began his career at Citibank where he managed the conversion to euro for corporate treasury. He then became manager in the treasury middle office. He served in the British Army as an infantry officer from 1993 to 1998.
