Colleen Taylor

Colleen Taylor leads the treasury management and merchant services lines of business for the banking segment of Capital One. In this role, she is responsible for developing and managing a geographically diverse group of teams engaged in supporting business development, implementation and servicing efforts within the bank's commercial real estate, middle market, small business and private banking groups. Taylor also leads the merchant services business leveraging Capital One's footprint and brand to increase market share, revenue and profitability. Taylor joined Capital One Bank in 2009 with nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, all within the treasury management and merchant services areas. Most of her career has been spent at Chase Bank with her most recent employment with Wells Fargo/Wachovia. Most recently, Taylor held the position of senior vice president (SVP), global payments and liquidity services at Wachovia Bank, where she led Wachovia's liquidity management strategic efforts including product management for active and passive investment products and balances. She also spent 15 years in various roles at JP Morgan Chase and its predecessor company, Chase Manhattan, including several years as SVP, revenue and balance management business executive. Taylor has achieved numerous accomplishments throughout her career, which include serving as the business sponsor for a strategic global DDA initiative designed to select the technology provider for the replacement of an aged platform operating in Europe and Asia, and instituting a partnership strategy to grow deposits with an asset management team. Taylor graduated magna cum laude from Spelman College in Atlanta and went on to receive her MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. She has been based in New York City for most of her career and served a two and a half year assignment for Chase in London in the late 1990s.
