Faraz Haider

Faraz Haider is managing director and head of trade for the Middle East and Pakistan (ME&P) cluster within the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He has been in this role for three years and manages a dedicated trade team of 16 people throughout this very important cluster. Citi's trade suite spans across trade services, trade finance, structured trade and risk mitigation solutions, as well as export agency finance. Prior to this, Haider was responsible for the global transaction services (GTS) business in Pakistan covering trade, cash management, and securities and funds services. He joined Citibank in October of 1991 as a management associate, and has worked in a variety of roles including head for product and sales functions. Haider also worked for ABN Amro in 1999 for 2.5 years as financial institutions and cash management head, and later took over as the working capital head for Pakistan.
