Simon Constantinides

Simon Constantinides is HSBC's regional head of global trade and receivables finance business in Asia-Pacific, excluding Hong Kong and Macau. In his current role, he is responsible for managing and growing the bank’s trade and supply chain franchise across Asia-Pacific, as well as driving HSBC’s regional receivables finance and commodity and structured trade finance (CSTF) businesses. Constantinides was previously regional head of trade and supply chain, Asia-Pacific (excluding Greater China), before he took over responsibility for China and Taiwan as well as responsibility for CSTF and receivables finance activity. Prior to his relocation to Hong Kong, he held several positions within HSBC Bank USA, including head of supply chain business for North America and subsequently as head of sales for trade and supply chain, HSBC Bank USA, where he was instrumental in cementing HSBC’s trade and supply chain proposition in that market. With a banking career spanning more than 22 years, Constantinides has focused much of the past 15 years building cross-border trade and financial supply chain management solutions for a wide variety of industry sectors globally.
