Douglas G. Hartsema has been named manager of the Treasury Services Group in Wachovia Corporate Services Inc.
He is based in Atlanta and replaces Michael L. Starr, who has been named Northwest region executive for Wachovia Bank, N.A. in Georgia. Hartsema has overall responsibility for all aspects of the treasury and cash management products and services Wachovia offers its corporate customers. A senior vice president-group executive, Hartsema was head of the Trust Client Services Group in Wachovia Corporate Services before assuming his new position. He joined Wachovia in 1983 and has held positions in wholesale lockbox, institutional operations, electronic payment systems and information reporting operations.
