Harbinger Selected by Packard Bell NEC For Complete Supply Chain Management Solution

The solution will facilitate all of the company’s business-to-business supply chain management transactions and harbinger.netSM, Harbinger’s new application-to-application E-Commerce portal will serve as the gateway through which these transactions flow. All transactions are completed electronically, from purchasing components to receiving payment for shipments. Using on-network data translation services, harbinger.net enables Packard Bell NEC and its trading partners to send data to the portal in any E-Commerce format (ANSI X12, UN/EDIFACT, e-forms, etc.). It is then converted to the required data format before being routed to the intended recipient. Transmissions can be routed either over the Internet or value-added networks.
