Wachovia Offers Browser-Based Trade Services
Wachovia Bank now offers browser-based Letter of Credit and Documentary Collection services through a secure extranet. Global Trade-LC allows importers to create letters of credit using customised templates and offers more than 20 standard reports to monitor import activity and electronically resolve discrepancies in documents. Global Trade-DC allows exporters to prepare and present open account, documentary collections and letter of credit cover letters directly to the buyers’ banks. Cover letter details can be entered quickly using ‘fill-in-the-blank’ screens and multiple databases can be accessed for all parties, currencies, countries and text clauses.
