BG Group CFO Assumes Interim Responsibility for ECA Region
BG Group’s chief financial officer (CFO) Ashley Almanza will assume interim responsibility for the management of the group’s Europe and central Asia (ECA) region, in addition to his current responsibilities as CFO.
Almanza, a chartered accountant with a MBA from the London Business School, joined the former British Gas in 1993. He has since held a number of key management roles within BG Group, culminating in his appointment as CFO in 2002.
Almanza’s expanded role follows the decision by executive vice president and managing director, ECA, Mark Carne to leave BG Group to pursue other opportunities.
