Wright Medical Appoints Lance Berry as CFO

Wright Medical Group, a global orthopaedic medical device company, has appointed Lance Berry as senior vice president (SVP) and chief financial officer (CFO), effective 11 December 2009. Berry will replace John Bakewell, who has resigned to accept a position with another company.

Berry joined Wright in 2002 and has served as Wright’s vice president and corporate controller with responsibilities for internal and external reporting, global corporate and entity-level accounting, and the leadership and support of multiple corporate strategic and operational initiatives over the course of his tenure. Prior to joining Wright, he served as audit manager with the Memphis office of Arthur Andersen. He received his Masters degree in Accounting from the University of Mississippi. He is a certified public accountant (CPA).
