Stephen Henkenmeier Joins ClickSquared as CFO
ClickSquared, a provider of email and cross-channel database marketing solutions, has appointed former M/C Communications executive Stephen Henkenmeier to chief financial officer (CFO).
In this position, Henkenmeier will be partnering with ClickSquared chief executive officer (CEO) Wayne Townsend and other executive team members to further accelerate the company’s market expansion, enhance profitability and improve internal processes while also playing a key role in strategic planning.
Most recently, Henkenmeier was CFO and executive vice president (EVP) for M/C Communications, a provider of continuing medical education for physicians. In this role, he was a member of the three-person executive leadership team that was responsible for engineering M/C’s turnaround and establishing a new strategic direction for the organisation.
Prior to M/C, Henkenmeier was vice president of finance for Novell, a leading global provider of infrastructure software and solutions. He also managed global strategy and planning in this role, and was a member of the global executive leadership team.
Before that, Henkenmeier was a partner in the Business Consulting Services division of IBM Global Services. In this role, he managed business development, offering strategy, alliance negotiations and due diligence on a global level. Previously, Henkenmeier held senior positions at Mainspring and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Henkenmeier earned his MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Henkenmeier is a certified public accountant (CPA).
