Deutsche Bank and Electrolux Major Appliances – North America (EMA-NA), an appliance manufacturer, have provided two one-day educational events to introduce financial supply chain (FSC) solutions to EMA-NA suppliers. On 22 and June 23, EMA-NA and Deutsche Bank conducted one-on-one discussions with two separate groups of EMA-NA suppliers, hosted executive roundtables and provided tours of the Electrolux Anderson refrigeration factory.
Geoff Pollak, vice president, purchasing, EMA-NA, said: “These educational events leverage the strong co-operation between EMA-NA and Deutsche Bank to explain this attractive FSC offering that benefits EMA-NA suppliers. By inviting our suppliers to our factory, they can understand more about the appliance market, learn about working capital requirements as well as the many advantages of participating in this FSC programme.”
