Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofA Merrill) has added two new leadership positions to its Zurich-based corporate banking and global treasury solutions (GTS) teams.

Patrick Hébert has been appointed head of corporate banking for Switzerland. He reports to Manuel Ebner, country executive and chief executive officer (CEO) of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, and to Heinz Hilger, head of corporate banking for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Hébert has joined BofA Merrill after nine years at JP Morgan in Paris, Frankfurt and Zurich, most recently as a corporate banker covering large Swiss corporate and commodity houses.

Deane Plummer has been appointed head of GTS Sales for Switzerland, reporting to David Jackson, head of western European multinational corporate sales for GTS, and to Beate Murray, head of GTS for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Plummer joins in September from Alcon Pharmaceuticals, where he was Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) treasury manager. Prior to that, he worked for Citigroup and Deutsche Bank in various roles.
