JPMorgan Adds Supply Chain Management Functionality to Trade Channel Platform

JPMorgan’s web-based platform, Trade Channel, has been updated to offer visibility into the entire range of a client’s trade activities from initiation to payment. The platform has been designed to provide supply chain management tools integrated with JPMorgan ACCESS, Treasury portal.

Current Trade Channel clients, including financial institutions, will be transitioned to the enhanced platform beginning in September 2011 and continuing throughout the year.

The enhanced Trade Channel platform provides users with real-time access to trade flow information – a key element of treasury’s current focus on the supply chain and its impact on working capital. Over the coming year, Trade Channel’s portal will provide a customisable client dashboard that can be used to monitor aspects of the client’s global trade business with JP Morgan around the globe, as well as access to training and reference materials from JP Morgan’s Trade University.
