Quench Hires Thomas Breslin as CFO
Quench, an independent provider of filtered water coolers, has hired Thomas Breslin as chief financial officer. Breslin will lead Quench’s financial organisation and provide insight as the company accelerates its growth and enters key markets nationwide. Quench recently received US$30m in growth capital from new and existing investors.
Breslin has served as CFO of several high-growth companies in his 20-plus year career. He served as CFO of Sonitrol Corporation during a period in which the company grew by 67% and acquired 12 other companies. Sonitrol, subsequently acquired by Stanley Works (now Stanley Black and Decker), was a provider of electronic security systems for businesses and educational institutions, with a business model very similar to Quench’s. More recently, he was the CFO of a privately-held diversified holding company where he led multiple acquisitions while providing strategic guidance and improving cash flow.
Breslin is a graduate of LaSalle University.
