Atos and KBC Strengthen Collaboration for E-payment Services

KBC has chosen Atos Worldline to process the electronic payment (e-payment) transactions of the bank and its clients until the end of 2016. The collaboration comprises the processing of the payment transactions of traders and cardholders and the provision of services relating to the issue of debit cards. A component of the collaboration concerns the possibility of blocking KBC debit cards through the Card Stop service. Services for the online management of KBC-guaranteed cheques will also be performed in collaboration with Atos Worldline.

Bart Guns, senior general manager group payments at KBC, said: “With this contract, KBC is opting for the continuation of the services by a very robust and reliable supplier of transaction services and a partner who is constantly striving for innovation.”
