Partnership Appoints David Richardson as CFO
UK retirement specialist Partnership has appointed David Richardson as its new chief financial officer (CFO), where he will be responsible for the firm’s finance, actuarial and investment management.
Richardson joins Partnership from the UK’s largest closed life assurance fund consolidator, Phoenix Group, where he was group chief actuary and responsible for restructuring the group’s £70bn balance sheet and overall capital management. Prior to this, he worked in a number of senior roles at reinsurer Swiss Re, across both its Admin Re and traditional reinsurance businesses, including that of global head of its longevity pricing teams. Richardson is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter holder.
Partnership said that incumbent CFO, Mark Dearsley, is moving to leverage his extensive international experience by becoming managing director of its new international division. Kathryn Purves, commercial director, has additionally been appointed as chief risk officer (CRO) and will oversee leadership of the risk, compliance, legal and company secretarial functions.
