Axletree Achieves Premier Certification from SWIFT

Bank communication and treasury automation provider Axletree Solutions has become the first service bureau in the Americas to receive SWIFT’s highest certification level, the Premier Operational Practice certification.

The level of certification is reserved only for SWIFT service bureau meeting SWIFT’s worldwide ‘best in class’ operational requirements.

“While many service bureaus are working to meet SWIFT’s stricter Standard Operational Practice requirements by the end of 2015, we have already attained the highest level of excellence,” said Axletree president, Mohan Murali. “We are honoured to be the first service bureau in the Americas to attain this recognition from our partners at SWIFT.”

Axletree said that it sought Premier certification to maintain levels of resiliency, security, availability, and service to equal SWIFT’s own. “SWIFT has increased its security and operating standards over the years as it has added its own service-bureau offerings. While other SWIFT service bureaus have seen revenue declines as a result, Axletree continues to grow,” the company said in a statement.
