First Names Group appoints Eric Fady as CFO

International trust, fund and corporate services provider First Names Group has appointed Eric Fady as chief financial officer (CFO), with immediate effect. Reporting directly to chief executive officer (CEO), Cengiz Somay, he will assume responsibility for delivering on the group’s financial support needs. Working closely with the board, management team, finance team (led by Andy Ruddy) and the group’s private equity partner, AnaCap Financial Partners LLP, he will oversee corporate finance, accounting, investor relations and capital and financing strategies.

Fady has over 20 years’ international and corporate finance experience working for public and private equity backed companies. After graduating from NEOMA Business School in his native France, he began his career as an accountant with KPMG in Lyon. In 1997 he moved to the UK to take on the role of European CFO and vice president for strategy implementation at the US listed company Dun & Bradstreet. Before joining First Names, Fady was group CFO of Hyperion Insurance Group, headquartered in London.
