The Lifehouse to offer helping hand to UK millennials

The Lifehouse.Co will “encourage people to get the most from their lives by making personal finance accessible, affordable and engaging (via) mobile-first technology, practical apps, online tools and digestible financial information.”

The Lifehouse.Co, a UK financial technology (fintech) has been launched by Neil Darke, former chief executive officer (CEO) of Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, to help millennials “rocked by financial uncertainty” to find the financial path to the life they truly want.

Darke has worked for several large institutions across the asset management, stockbroking and private wealth management sectors, aiming to bring innovation to outmoded practices. Drawing inspiration from the latest thinking in behavioural psychology, sports science and the agile software development methodology, The Lifehouse.Co aims to make personal finance accessible, affordable and engaging.

The start-up will donate a percentage of any profits to charities that promote financial education or help alleviate financial distress. The Lifehouse.Co’s initial products and services will be free and are currently in beta. It is seeking for UK beta-testers, aged 25-30 with an IOS smartphone, who can pre-register at www.thelifehouse.co to take part.
