MahiFX creates MFX Vector sales role

The provider of automated pricing and risk management technology for FX trades said that Guy Hopkins has joined its team from Morgan Stanley to focus on the sale of its latest product.

MahiFX, which provides automated pricing and risk management technology for retail foreign exchange clients has appointed former Morgan Stanley head of e-FX Europe, Guy Hopkins, to the newly created role of head of MFX Vector sales.

MFX Vector, an innovative FX trading platform, allows buy-side users to retain spread on their spot FX orders.

Hopkins began his career in sales after graduating from the University of Durham with a first class honours degree in Psychology. In 2002 he joined Bloomberg, where he progressed through several key sales positions to become head of FX electronic trading EMEA in 2006. In May 2008 he joined Morgan Stanley and managed e-FX sales in EMEA for over seven years, until joining MahiFX.
