Transfast names Joe Tumbarello as CFO/COO

The cross-border payments and funds transfer specialist has added a second role for its COO, who joined the company last summer.

Cross-border payments and funds transfer solutions specialist Transfast announced that Joe Tumbarello, who joined the company as chief operating officer (COO) in June 2015, is taking on the additional role of chief financial officer (CFO). He will be a key player in developing Transfast’s financial and operational strategy and the point person responsible for the company’s financial and operations functions, including systems to continue to support its growth strategy.

Tumbarello previously held senior financial, operational, and business management positions in companies including First Data Corporation, where he was a divisional CFO and general manager; Cardservice International, where he was CFO; and FNDS3000 Corp., a prepaid company focusing on the South African market. Immediately prior to joining Transfast, Tumbarello was senior vice president of finance and administration at Global Cash Card, focusing on business operations, strategy, network and banking relationships. He also served as Global’s chief compliance officer. Tumbarello holds an MBA in Corporate and International Finance from Baruch College in New York.
