Citi has launched an analytical tool for use by its specialists to advise global institutions and help them identify efficiencies when using banking channels and connectivity options for their treasury and shared service centre (SSC) operations. It said that the new connectivity module, developed by Citi’s Singapore-based innovation lab and now part of the Citi Interactive Solutions platform, enhances a company’s ability to manage their cash and risk, and provides valuable strategic input to develop a more secure and efficient treasury environment.
The group unveiled the new capability at its annual Asia Pacific Treasury and Finance Conference in Shanghai last month. The module will be rolled out globally over the next few months, and “will strengthen Citi’s focus to provide differentiated value to our clients with an enhanced customer experience facilitated by digitisation, technology and analytics.”
