UniCredit makes senior appointments in Asia and France

The bank said the four appointments are to strengthen its corporate and investment banking international network.

UniCredit announced four key appointments in Asia and France to further strengthen its corporate and investment banking international network. Simon Tutt is named Singapore branch manager, effective 1 February, taking over from Albert Kong who is leaving the bank. Tutt joined UniCredit in 2004 and most recently served as head of European corporates Asia Pacific region, based in Hong Kong. His appointment is subject to the approval of local regulatory authorities.

Amit Roy is appointed chief representative, Mumbai, and Constance Au is appointed head of Asian multinational corporates (MNC), South Asia, based in Singapore, with both appointments effective immediately. The executives appointed in Asia report to Michele Amadei, head of Asia Pacific region. Roy joined UniCredit from SACE, the Italian export credit agency, where he served as head of South Asia, based in Mumbai. Au joined from Deutsche Bank in Singapore, where she most recently served as director and head of corporate banking coverage Singapore.

In France, Florence Blazy joins UniCredit as senior banker for coverage of the group’s French large corporate clients, financial sponsors and financial institutions, effective immediately. She will be based in Paris, reporting to Patrick Soulard, head of UniCredit Corporate & Investment Banking France. Blazy was previously senior banker at Itaú BBA and prior to that managing director and senior banker in corporate coverage at BBVA.
