Natixis recruits head of debt capital markets from Deutsche Bank

Michael Haize was previously head of capital markets and corporate banking for Deutsche Bank in Paris.

French banking group Natixis has appointed Michael Haize as global head of debt capital markets. He will report to Mohamed Kallala, global head of investment banking.

Haize joins Natixis from Deutsche Bank in Paris, where he was head of capital markets and corporate banking. He started his career at Société Générale as head of corporate options and equity derivatives marketing in 1990. In 1993, he joined JP Morgan in Paris and then in London, where he successively held the positions of head of origination and derivatives marketing for France and Belux, and then head of corporate bond syndicate euro.

In 2001, he joined Deutsche Bank in London as head of debt capital markets and derivatives for France and Belux, co-head of debt capital markets FIG & SSA for Europe and then head of capital markets and corporate banking in Paris. Haize is a graduate of ESSEC Business School.
