Santander appoints Saul Proctor as UK director

Santander has appointed Saul Proctor as a director of Santander UK Corporate & Commercial, within its financial sponsors team. Reporting to Andrew Clayton, national head of financial sponsors, structured finance group, Santander Corporate & Commercial, Proctor will be responsible for the origination and execution of new event driven transactions across South England and the Midlands, supporting financial sponsors and management teams in the mid corporate market place.

Proctor has over eight years of experience working within leveraged finance, most recently working for Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), helping originate and execute a wide range of transactions to support a number of private equity (PE) backed UK mid-market corporates.
