Canadian payments and financial technology provider DH Corporation, aka D+H, has announced the availability for industry testing of its United States real-time payment (RTP) processing solution, which will enable American banks to commence testing on The Clearing House’s (TCH’s) real-time clearing and settlement network to support RTPs in the US.
D+H’s global payments hub technology will allow consumers and businesses to send, request and receive payments instantly, directly from their accounts at participating financial institutions. Banks are now able to work with D+H to test their ability to connect to the network and bring new RTP services to the US market, once TCH’s real-time network launches later this year.
“As The Clearing House works hard to make RTPs a reality in the US, we are pleased that D+H is providing financial institutions a solution to connect to our network,” says Steve Ledford, TCH’s senior vice president of product and strategy. “Ubiquity is a top priority for our RTP system and D+H’s processing solution will help us achieve that goal by greatly expanding the reach of our RTP system in the US.”
