The financial messaging services provider will select five companies to a global payments innovation (gpi) industry challenge workshop in Singapore this September.
Financial messaging services provider SWIFT is inviting fintech companies across the world to leverage on its global payments innovation (gpi) platform, with a prize funding of €200,000 for two selected winners. The industry challenge follows the launch of gpi earlier this year, with over 20 global transaction banks actively using or implementing the service, with another 50 banks in the implementation pipeline.
Five fintech companies will be invited to a gpi industry challenge workshop in Singapore on 13-14 September, where they will receive coaching from fintech experts and connect with 30 gpi member banks. The winners will get to further develop their concept over a three-month period with banks and SWIFT, getting exposure to the financial industry, and be presented at Sibos 2017 in Toronto this October.
