Treasury Leaders Summit offers a roadmap to the future

This year's Treasury Leaders Summit will serve up a packed two-day programme of panel discussions and workshops around the hot topics facing treasury professionals, with an emphasis on technology and change.

‘Treasury Transformation’ will be the subject of this year’s Day 1 keynote panel discussion at the Treasury Leaders Summit (November 21-22).

Panellists Helmut Schnabel, chairman the International Group of Treasury Associations, Gordon Wei of Huawei, Felix Meyer of ABB, Manny Sandhu of Ted Baker and David Everett of Flybe will be in attendance to discuss the importance of remaining agile and anticipating change in the face of industry disruption. They will offer insights and expertise about the changing role of the treasurer and how the treasury function is becoming increasingly strategically focused.

Also on the agenda on Day 1 will be a new Treasury Technology Workshop focused on the core issues surrounding treasury technology adoption. Examining how to increase cash visibility, bolster cash management safety and improve cashflow forecasting, the workshop is designed to provide a clear understanding of the treasury technology market. It will also present solutions that will help your business to stay ahead of the curve in this continually evolving landscape, with an emphasis on future-proofing your treasury department.

Further panel discussions on Day 1 will focus on a broad range of issues including cyber security; the implications of blockchain technology for treasury professionals; and the best ways of ensuring your business remains compliant against a backdrop of ever-changing regulations.

Day 2’s programme will continue the technology theme with a workshop examining the future of treasury tech, including hot topics such as AI, machine learning and blockchain.

In the afternoon a keynote panel will offer an opportunity for delegates to put questions to ‘ethical hacker’ Arron Finnon and HillBillyHitSquad co-founder Chris Roberts, who will provide unique insights and practical guidance on how to guard your organisation against cyber security threats.

Other speakers across the two-day event will comprise a who’s-who of treasury leaders, including Alexander Ilkun of Moody’s; Ion Sclifos of Orange; Jacob Bejoy of Deutsche Post DHL Group; and Yemi Jackson of Engage Transform.
