Ferratum Group announces new senior leadership appointments

Finland-based mobile financial service provider Ferratum Group has announced that CFO Clemens Krause will take up the role of chief risk officer. He will keep his role as the CFO and will retain his place on the directors team.

The company also announced promotions of eight members including Adam Tönning, head of financial planning & analysis; Outi Ellilä, head of marketing and customer experience; Scott Donnelly, business unit director SME lending; Kristjan Kajakas, business unit director for revolving loans; Antti Kumpulainen, business unit director for installment loans; Marius Solescu, head of human resources; Sami Kalliola, head of strategic partnerships; and Emmi Kyykkä, deputy head of investor relations.

Founder and CEO Jorma Jokela said: “I look forward to the guidance and counsel this combination of individuals will bring to the directors team.”

Chichester MP promoted to Treasury role

Her Majesty’s Treasury has appointed Chichester MP Gillian Keegan as parliamentary private secretary (PPS). Keegan will be helping Treasury ministers in their official departmental and parliamentary duties. She will also be responsible for taking input from cross-party MPs regarding Treasury policy and conveying the same to the department.

Keegan commented: “I’m excited to be asked to perform this new role helping the ministerial team at the Treasury, particularly in the run up to the Budget. A strong economy is vital to the success of our country and providing the resources for our public services. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and learning a lot in the process.”
