Carlson Wagonlit Travel appoints new treasurer

Courtney Mattson has been appointed as the new treasurer of global travel management company Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Mattson previously held the position of treasurer at Minneapolis-based company Mosaic, where she was responsible for the company’s global banking relationships and worked with teams across Brazil, India, China, Canada and the US. Prior to that, she worked with KPMG for eight years, and was responsible for handling federal and international tax matters. Mattson will be based in CWT’s headquarters in Minneapolis, reporting to CFO Brad Hall, and will be a member of CWT’s finance leadership team.

Kiadis Pharma strengthens core team with three senior appointments

Clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Kiadis Pharma N.V has appointed Dirk De Naeyer as head of supply chain along with two new senior team appointments. De Naeyer previously worked with Janssen Pharmaceuticals for 14 years. He held the position of co-lead for the integration of Actelion into Janssen most recently. Prior to that, he served as head of the Janssen Global Clinical Operations team and held multiple supply chain and operations leadership positions. De Naeyer was responsible for heading the Janssen Clinical Supply Chain, overseeing all active pharmaceutical ingredient and drug product manufacturing, packaging and distribution for Janssen R&D that covered small molecules, biologics and stem cell therapies.

EFG International appoints chief risk officer

Ranjit Singh has been appointed chief risk officer and a member of the Executive Committee for EFG International, effective January 1, 2019, subject to regulatory approval. Singh will report to CEO Giorgio Pradelli. He will be responsible for overseeing and further enhancing EFG’s global risk function. Singh previously served as group chief risk officer and group executive of Standard Life Aberdeen in Edinburgh and London. Prior to that, he was group chief risk officer of Swiss Re AG in Zurich, Switzerland, where he was a member of the executive board and committee. Singh will replace Thomas A Mueller, who was elected to the board of directors of Raiffeisen Switzerland, and stepped down from his role as chief risk officer and member of the executive committee of EFG International. Dimitris Politis will serve as chief risk officer on an interim basis with immediate effect, parallel to his role as chief financial officer.
