Lord Malloch-Brown has also served in the British Cabinet under former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, and is active both in business and the non-profit world, while remaining deeply involved in international affairs.
He is due to talk at the Treasury Leaders Summit in November, to discuss the impact of Brexit on global trade, so Treasury Live sat down with him to chat about the future of UK politics and the wider impact Brexit is having on treasurers.
