Before joining IMMFA in 2009, Gail was head of industry affairs at JP Morgan Asset Management in London for two years. She worked on policy issues affecting the asset management industry and led a team that conducted business strategy projects and implemented MiFID within asset management. Prior to that, Gail worked for BNP Paribas Asset Management in Paris, first as head of fixed income product management for five years and then head of research and development for four years. Concurrently, she was a member of the European Commission's expert group on investment fund market efficiency in 2006. Gail's varied career includes positions in investment banking at Salomon Brothers in New York and corporate banking at Banque Paribas in Paris. She received a BA in mathematics and computer science from Cornell University and an MBA in finance from the University of California, Los Angeles.
