Capital One Bank Names New Head of Treasury Management and Merchant Services
Capital One Bank has appointed of Colleen Taylor as new head of treasury management and merchant services. With almost 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Taylor will support the commercial banking group and work closely with Michael Slocum, executive vice president of commercial banking at Capital One Bank.
Taylor will be responsible for developing and managing a geographically diverse group of teams engaged in supporting business development, implementation and servicing efforts within the bank’s real estate, middle market, small business and private banking groups. She will also lead the merchant services business and brand to increase market share, revenue and profitability.
Most recently, Taylor held the position of senior vice president, global payments & liquidity services at Wachovia Bank, where she led Wachovia’s liquidity management strategic efforts including product management for active and passive investment products and balances. Taylor also spent fifteen years in various roles at JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor company, Chase Manhattan, including several years as senior vice president, revenue and balance management business executive.
