Rabobank Implements Clear2Pay's Open Payment Framework

Rabobank (NL) has entered into an agreement with Clear2Pay for the provision and implementation of a bank-wide payments hub powered by the Open Payment Framework (OPF).

The OPF will be part of the infrastructure that facilitates the payments processing for the bank’s activities in the Netherlands. The first deliverable SEPA Direct Debit (part of the full SEPA suite) will go live by the end of the first quarter of 2011.

René Steenvoorden, chief information officer (CIO), Rabobank Group, said: “After a thorough vendor review we opted for Clear2Pay’s Open Payment Framework because of its state-of-the-art technology, which will support us for years to come and its rich and relevant functionality.”
