NCI Hires Brian Clark as CFO

NCI, a provider of IT, engineering, logistics, and professional services and solutions to US federal government agencies, has hired Brian Clark as the executive vice president (EVP), chief financial officer (CFO) and treasurer. He will join the company in April 2011.

Clark brings to NCI more than 15 years of executive-level experience within the government IT services sector. He will manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, investor relations, commercial and investment banking relationships, as well as lead the company’s mergers and acquisitions programme and strategic capital investment decisions.

Prior to joining NCI, he was the EVP, CFO and treasurer for Stanley, a government IT firm acquired by CGI Group in September 2010. While at Stanley, he led equity and debt financings, including the company’s initial public offering (IPO) in 2006, to support organic growth as well as several successful acquisitions. Additionally, he was responsible for leading reorganisations that were aimed at more efficiently streamlining operations to better facilitate revenue and margin growth.

Prior to Stanley, Clark was the vice president, corporate controller, and principal accounting officer for Titan Corporation. While there, he was involved in all strategic transactions, managing the company’s merger and acquisition (M&A) programmes, as well as divestitures, equity joint ventures, and commercial contracts.

Clark has an outstanding reputation in the capital markets and for growing businesses both organically and through acquisitions. During his five-year tenure at Stanley, the company’s annualised revenues grew from US$282m to over US$900m, and while at Titan the company’s revenues doubled from US$1.1bn to US$2.2bn.

Prior to Titan, Clark was a senior manager of assurance and business advisory services for Arthur Andersen, where he participated in three IPOs and the completion of more than 25 M&A transactions as well as advising companies on financial risk management and technical accounting matters.
