Ceragon Networks Appoints Aviram Steinhart as CFO
Ceragon Networks, a wireless backhaul specialist, has named Aviram Steinhart as executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO), replacing Tsipi Kagan, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. Steinhart will join the company on 1 December 2011, and Kagan will remain through the end of 2011 to assist with the transition.
Steinhart is a technology industry veteran, bringing both financial management and executive leadership experience to his new position. He joins from Lumenis, where he has been senior vice president and CFO since 2007. Steinhart also previously served as corporate vice president, finance at Alvarion, as well as in a variety of senior financial positions at Siemens/UGS PLM Solutions, Tecnomatix, and NetReality Communications.
Steinhart holds a BA from Haifa University and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. A certified public accountant (CPA), he began his career with the public accounting firm KPMG.
