QinetiQ North America Appoints Gary Slack as EVP and CFO

QinetiQ North America (QNA) has appointed Gary Slack as executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO). In his new role, Slack will have responsibility for finance and accounting, treasury and risk management, as well as play an expanded role in strategy and business operations.

Prior to joining QNA, Slack spent 13 years with BAE Systems, serving most recently as the president of the company’s US Combat Systems business where he directed operations involving more than 9,000 employees across 16 states.

Prior to joining BAE Systems, Slack was the director of group finance for TRW’s systems and information technology group. He has also held positions at BDM International, Honeywell Federal Systems and the Virginia Department of Taxation.

Slack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Longwood University and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
