L&Q Implements Salmon Treasurer

L&Q, one of the largest providers of affordable housing in the UK, has implemented a new treasury management system (TMS) from Salmon Software. L&Q owns or manages over 70,000 homes in London and the South East of England with an estimated open market value of £12.7 billion.

The new TMS, Salmon Treasurer, replaces a legacy system following an extensive and detailed procurement process that considered a number of TMS suppliers.

“With a fast changing business model it is vital for us to manage and have instant management information and visibility on our banking, cash, treasury and debt positions,” commented Martin Watts, head of treasury for L&Q. “Salmon Treasurer scores highly on its ability to handle complex instruments, support stakeholder needs and is price competitive.”

John Byrne, CEO of Salmon Software, added that L&Q is one of an increasing number of international customers who gravitating toward independent providers that specialise in treasury management systems.

Salmon Treasurer is aimed at corporate treasurers to manage debt and derivatives, cash management, electronic payments, money markets, foreign exchange, treasury, banking transactions, and many other related activities. Salmon Treasurer can now be deployed as an on-premises or cloud computing TMS, treasury workstation solution.
