Andreas Lutz named new CEO of Fides Treasury Services

The Credit Suisse subsidiary said that Lutz, who succeeds Alain Schmid, will take up the post with immediate effect.

Fides Treasury Services, a member of the Credit Suisse Group and specialist in multi-bank connectivity and communications, announced that Andreas Lutz has been unanimously appointed by Fides’ board of directors as chief executive officer (CEO). He takes up the post with immediate effect.

Lutz, who has been with Credit Suisse and Fides for a combined 15 years, has focused on heading sales, marketing and projects for the past three years and in 2015 was named as Fides’ chief marketing officer. He succeeds Fides’ previous CEO, Alain Schmid, who announced in September 2016 that he intended to step down to pursue continued service within Fides’ parent company, Credit Suisse Ltd.
