Quantexa, the disruptive big data and analytics company, has opened a Belgium office in Brussels. As part of “aggressive international growth plans”, offices in Sydney and New York will follow within the next 12 months. The company, which is backed by HSBC and Albion Ventures and completed US$3.3m fund raising last month, plans to expand its customer base outside the UK. The Brussels office has an initial staff of four and will put the company in closer proximity to its clients, which include some of the world’s major financial institutions.
Quantexa adds that its technology, which uses real-time entity resolution with network analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to knit together vast and disparate data sets, enables companies and institutions to tackle complex problems such as financial crime and to meet anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
