BofA Merrill Expands GBAM Team in Poland
Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofA Merrill) has expanded its global banking and markets (GBAM) activities in Poland with three senior hires: Dimitri Danilenko, Artur Kozieja and Michal Krupinski.
Danilenko has joined as head of corporate banking for central and eastern Europe (CEE). He is based in London and is responsible for BofA Merrill’s corporate banking activities in the region, including the important Polish market. Danilenko has joined from HSBC where he spent seven years, most recently as a senior relationship manager responsible for financial institutions across CEE and some countries in the CIS region.
Kozieja joins as head of investment banking for CEE. A Polish national, he will be based in London and be responsible for investment banking in the region. He joins from Barclays Capital where, most recently, he was a director on the central Europe investment banking team. Prior to that, Kozieja worked at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse in their investment banking departments. He began his career with Polish investment banking transactions in 1995.
Krupinski joins as head of GBAM for Poland. A Polish national, he will be based in Warsaw and be responsible for co-ordinating GBAM’s activities in the Polish market. Krupinski joins from the World Bank Group where, since October 2008, he served as alternate executive director. Previously, he was Undersecretary of State Treasury for Poland.
In addition to these appointments, BofA Merrill will continue to use its global product and industry investment banking teams and global fixed income and equities platforms to make the best supplementary expertise available to Polish corporate and institutional clients.
