Vincent Lunny, Compliance Officer for the Scottish Football Association (SFA) is resigning his role to pursue a legal career.
Lunny joined the SFA in 2011 as its first ever compliance officer, having previously worked at the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service. The SFA has announced that he will leave the organisation in September to complete his advocate training, begun in 2005. A replacement compliance officer has not yet been found.
“It has been a real privilege to have worked at the Scottish FA and it has been a tremendous experience,” said Lunny. “The last three years have flown by – the fastest three years of my life.”
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here and in Scottish football but I am also looking forward to progressing my legal career,” he added.
