Promotion for Standard Chartered's Vrontamitis

Standard Chartered PLC has appointed employee of two decades Michael Vrontamitis as Head of Trade and Product Management, it has been announced.

Starting with immediate effect, Vrontamitis will oversee the delivery of the bank’s trade finance capabilities in documentary trade, receivables services and supply chain finance. He will be based in in Hong Kong.

Previously, Vrontamitis was Head of Product for Greater China and Northeast Asia. He joined Standard Chartered in 1995 and has worked across a number of its businesses, including Corporate Relationship Management, Cash Management and Trade Product Sales, Investor Relations, Business Planning and Strategy for the CEO of the Consumer Bank, Customer Segmentation and Branding, and Customer Experience Management. He is also the Treasurer of KELY, a Hong Kong-based organisation that  helps young people from difficult backgrounds to achieve their potential.
