The Co-operative Bank hands Liam Coleman directorship

The Co-operative Bank has promoted Liam Colman from treasurer to director of its retail and commercial banking arm, it has been announced.

The Co-operative Bank has promoted Liam Colman from treasurer to director of its retail and commercial banking arm, it has been announced.

Colman joined the Co-op in June 2013, having moved from a deputy group treasurer role at RBS. Prior to this, he also held a treasury group director role at Nationwide.

The bank’s chairman Richard Pym has also revealed that he will be stepping down from his role on October 1st, to take up a new position as chairman of Allied Irish Banks. Dennis Holt, the Co-op’s Senior Independent Director with over 36 years’ experience in the industry, will act as interim chairman until a replacement can be found.
