EY announces Global Exec dual role for Uschi Schreiber

Leading assurance, tax, transaction and advisory service providers EY has revealed that Uschi Schreiber will take the reins as Global Vice Chair for Markets and Chair of the Global Accounts Committee.

Leading assurance, tax, transaction and advisory service providers EY has revealed that Uschi Schreiber will take the reins as Global Vice Chair for Markets and Chair of the Global Accounts Committee, both of which fall in the company’s most senior management body, the Global Executive.

Schreiber, who enjoys international recognition as a leader in diversity and inclusiveness, also plays an active role in the European Commission, World Economic Forum and B20 Task Force, founded the 1,500-strong Worldwide Women Public Sector Leaders Network and was recently appointed to the Women in Parliaments Global Forum Advisory Board. She previously led EY’s Government Public Service practice for four years and will continue to lead its Global Markets Leader. She will now be responsible for the company’s global market knowledge, industry, strategic growth markets, innovation, strategy and planning functions, as well as business development.

Succeeding Schreiber as Global Sector Leader for Government & Public Sector is George Atalla. Jay Nibbe, who joined EY in 1985, has also been appointed Global Vice Chair for Tax, having previously held the Chair of EY’s global accounts committee and deputy area managing partner for Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa.
