Fund manager Hermes has announced the appointment of Promethion Limited’s Zoë Shaw as its new Head of Fixed Income, to lead the creation of its new specialist credit capabilities.
With three decades of experience in investment banking and asset management, Shaw is thought to be well placed to build on the fixed income at and credit capabilities already in place at Hermes. Prior to acting as Managing Director of Promethion, a role she held for for 5 years, Shaw founded and was a managing partner at New Bond Street Asset Management LLP, a fixed income asset manager that, at its peak, had €8 billion of assets under management. Shaw has also held senior positions at BGB UK Plc, WestLB and Bank of America.
