The private equity fund manager Calculus Capital has announced that Avendus Capital’s Robert Davis has taken the reins as its new Investment Director.
Davis has over two decades’ experience in investment banking and, prior to his joint role of Managing Director and Head of European Business at Avendus Capital, spent eight years as the Head of European M&A at Nomura International. He has also held positions at Robert Fleming and JP Morgan Chase.
At Calculus Capital, Davis will be responsible for managing the firm’s portfolio companies. Chairman Susan McDonald, said: “Calculus Capital has successfully managed 18 exits and this newly-created role will further enhance our reputation for building and realising value in portfolio companies. We are delighted to have someone of Robert’s expertise and calibre joining our team.”
