Patricio Remon takes up Equifax reins today

The credit reference agency Equifax has appointed Patricio Remon Managing Director of its UK and Ireland operations.

Remon, who has been at the company since 2006, was until today general manager of Equifax Iberia, overseeing the company branches in Spain and Portugal. Prior to this, he headed up Equifax Peru and Ecuador.

“Equifax is an exceptionally strong business that is recognised in the UK & Ireland for helping organisations make better decisions and improve profitability, as well as empowering consumers to manage their finances,” said Remon, commenting on the appointment. “I am looking forward to building on our market-leading propositions to make Equifax the insights business of choice and continue our role in the success of our customers and the UK economy as a whole.”

Outgoing director Shawn Holtzclaw, whom Remon will officially replace as of today, said: “I am proud of the positive impact the UK & Ireland Equifax business continues to have on the market and economy.”
