Spate of new hires follows new CEO arrival at Duncan Lawrie

The private banking firm Duncan Lawrie, which recruited Byron Coombs as CEO earlier this year, has now announced the appointment of several more senior personnel.

The private banking firm Duncan Lawrie, which recruited Byron Coombs as CEO earlier this year, has now announced the appointment of several more senior personnel.

Joining the company as senior bankers are James Brooks, formerly an associate director at Adam & Co, and Samantha Cuthbert of Barclays Wealth. UK Business Development Manager John Hilson risen to Regional Director of London, whilst senior private banker Stephen Banker is moving from the company’s Kent office to its Belgravia office in London.

Speaking of the shakeup, Coombs said that he was “delighted” with the appointments and promotions, adding:   ‘Our London office is enjoying high levels of new business and we want to ensure that we maintain our focus on serving client needs and on our strategy of sustainable business growth.’
